I’m US Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Wiesbaden Germany, here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. I truly care about my patients’ well-being and offer evidence-based counseling services catered to your needs.
Since 2014 I have been providing mental health counseling to adults, groups, families, couples, and US Military service members. Living in a foreign country where a different language is spoken can be a huge barrier to obtaining the help and guidance needed to overcome life's hurdles. It is my goal to make obtaining mental health counseling in Germany a little easier for English speakers.
Michelle Farmer, LMSW
My name is Michelle based in Wiesbaden, Germany. I am a Licensed Master of Social Work, and I am trained in couples therapy through the Gottman Method Couples Counseling.
I specialize in working with the U.S. Military population. I grew up aware of the diversity within the military as well as the intricacies which come alongside being a part of this community, especially overseas. My hope and goals for my clients are to provide the resources, skills, and tools to meet client needs through the collaborative effort between the client and counselor. Navigating relationships during various phases of life can be challenging. It can also be the utmost rewarding when there is effective communication and support to manage the complexities of conflict in addition to the complexities of living within the military environment.
